Clearstep is a comprehensive revolutionary, invisible orthodontic system.

The system has been designed by Dr. Andrew McCaance as a treatment modality consisting of five elements. Each of The System's elements focuses on a solution to specific orthodontic problems. It is broken down thus:

How Does Clearstep work?

Having worked with clear positioners for a number of years, it was Dr McCance's aim to develop a system based around the clear positioners that can address all of the limitations inherent in this appliance. Vitally it is accessible to General Practitioners as the majority of appliances are removable and pre-adjusted, minimizing the skills required chairside.

By combing the various appliances within each element of the system with the clear positioning trays, all malocclusions can be addressed.

Clearstep Limitations

• The Clearstep System was developed due to the limitations that clear positioners alone possess. There are restrictions in regards to the amount of movement that can be put into each positioner and as such the treatment times can take longer than traditional orthodontics.

• I Step: Consultaionfee : 200 Gbp (deductable from treatment price)

• II Step: a diagnostic report will be done with help of x-rays, photographs and impressions in an official Clearstep laboratory.

• At a mild case one arch (top OR bottom) costs £1500, but more difficult cases, or if you need treatment on both arches will cost more.
